Technology Training

There are currently two to three days of technology training sessions, held at one of Microsoft's local facilities (Waltham, MA) each week. Key points about this training include:

Session costs are $10/Hour per Participant, or $40 for a 4 hour session.
All sessions are taught by a Microsoft Certified Trainer or Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor
Sessions may vary in length, depending on product complexity and training level (basic or more advanced). Current sessions have been standardized on a 4 hour session model. (from a previous 2 ^1/2hour session for some classes).
Sessions now include a "lab" section, intended to help participants immediately apply what they've learned during the session to projects of practical immediate value to them.
Participants may bring their own laptop with the software already loaded and a limited number of laptops are available for use by participants who do not have their own.
Certificates of session attendance are provided, along with opportunities for application of session information in the building of a Personal Electronic Portfolio (PEP).

A "tentative" schedule of classes can be found in the Calendar page of this website, but it is currently the weekly email distribution that confirms the schedule and provides the ability to register.
